Heavy haul trucking from Houston to Los Angeles commonly begins with I-10 as the planning corridor, but the permitted route can change after axle weights, loaded dimensions, construction, clearances and final-mile access are reviewed. Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California issue separate approvals.
